My painting “Summer Cows” was selected by Juror:
Brenda Swenson NWWA, SDWS, WW, CW for the Fort Worth Texas Society of Watercolor Artists 2020 Juried International Exhibition.
The original painting is in a private collection in East Texas.
I provided a demo of the Mineola Texas Pine Tree house to a crowd of about 50 artist and guest at the SWA January Meeting in Fort Worth Texas.

Texas & Neighbors competition received a record 585 entries from 230 artists and 74 were selected residing in the five states for the regional show. My painting ” Ride to LaGuardia I” was accepted.

Soon has had numerous exhibitions and earned numerous awards, including Silver Medal Purchase Award in NWS in 2008, Masters Awards in 2014, and many magazine awards. Her artistic vision and process of creating work were published in Watercolor Artists, American Watercolor Magazine, and many more. She is a major winner in past Texas & Neighbors Shows, including Best of Show, and has earned signature status. Soon Y. is a signature member of many art organizations including the National Watercolor Society (NWS), the American Watercolor Society (AWS), and the Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA). She is an author of “Vibrant Flowers in Watercolor” with F&W Publication, (North Light Book) and “Painting Vibrant Watercolor: Discover the Magic of Light, Color and Contrast.”. Also, she participated in the book, “Watercolor Secret,” with one chapter, “Create Drama with Bold Composition. In 2013, she created three DVDs: Top Vibrant Watercolor Techniques; Vibrant Watercolor Techniques Painting Glass; Vibrant Watercolor Techniques Painting Water.
